The roles are painfully underwritten: the wallflower who corners into a strident activist, the merciless American administrative (Richard Schiff), the trophy wife who is averse to being remedied as an idiot by her husband (Rosamund Pike), the hot-pants blonde who's tempted by managment's dirty-tricks ministry, and the selfish doofus of a husband (Daniel Mays) who doesn't understand why his wife is ignoring her familial duties, yet eventually gets it later the huge inspirational discourse. It's only Geraldine James and Roger Lloyd-Pack, as a union activist and her emotionally distressed husband, who administer to heave on their material Puma First Round Womens, and find some nuance in their roles.
