WuXi PharmaTech (WX.NYSE) has signed an agreement to establish a biopharmaceutical company in Wuxi, of eastern China's Jiangsu province.
The new firm,Outsourcing Solution For Retail Goods, located in the Wuxi Outsourcing Area for Bio-Medical Research and Development,Offshore outsourcing, boasts a registered capital of 100 million yuan, and covers an area of about 6.7 hectares.
The firm will be built according to advance international standards. It will use the proprietary technology and human resources of its parent company WuXi PharmaTech to provide biopharmaceutical R&D and manufacturing outsourcing services which include exporting monoclonal antibodies, vaccines,custom software development, and recombinant proteins to global biopharmaceutical companies.
After the new company enters into production,Localization Software, its annual revenue will reach around 200 million yuan.
WuXi PharmaTech is a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device R&D outsourcing company, with operations in China and the US. In January 2008,Print solution outsourcing, the company completed its acquisition of AppTec Laboratory Services.
