Objectiva Software Solutions, a division of Document Sciences Corporation received the 'Client Collaboration Award' at China Outsourcing Summit produced by Vision Events(R),[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a Gartner, Inc. company.
Gartner Inc., the leading provider of research and analysis on the global information industry opened the conference with presentations by Jamie Popkin, Group Vice President and Research Fellow for China, Korea and India and Ian Marriott, Research Vice President.
The China Outsourcing Summit culminated with Vendor Awards for their solutions, programs, client service, as well as design and delivery of presentations. The awards are solely voted on by the attending Executives and not by Gartner or any of its affiliates. "As the 'next big shore' in offshore sourcing strategies, China offers a low cost of labor and increasingly skilled workforce. There are literally thousands of Chinese ITO and BPO companies, yet outsourcing to China is a relatively unexplored territory for most businesses," said Philip McKay,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Vision Events group Vice President and General Manager.
