We already kas long asHalloween is not a Christian celebration, preferably it is a Christianized Pagan (Heathen) Celebration. This celebration is being held on the night of October 31 according to the Wikipedia.org:
"Halloween is a vacation celebrated aboard the night of October 31, normally by children wearing in costumes and going door-to-door collecting sugarplum. It is celebrated in many of the Western world, whereas most usually in the United States, Ireland, Scotland and Canada. Irish, Scots and additional emigrants brought older versions of the institution to North USA in the 19th century."
Therefore, as of the period of book this post,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Christians commemorated already the Halloween.
But do you consider true Christians are free to celebrate Halloween?
The Apostle Paul teaches (Ephesians 4:17):
"17So this I say and solemnly allege in [the name of] the Lord [as in His presence], that you have to no longer live as the heathen (the Gentiles) do in their perverseness [in the folly, pretension,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and vacancy of their souls and the futility] of their ideas. (Amplified Bible)"
It is clear from that rhyme that Apostle Paul arrayed the true Christians no to live as heathen. And we already know thatHalloween is a Christianized Heathen celebration. If we say Christianized Heathen celebration, it method that a pagan celebration was creature adapted as a Christian celebration.
Why should we,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the true Christian, lest those heathen celebrations? From that verse again:
"17As a follower of the Lord, I order you to stop living like stupid,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], godless people. (Ephesians 4:17, Contemporary English Version)"
Celebrating those heathen festival like Halloween along to Apostle Paul is fatuous and ungodly action. And the people who did this are hopelessly confused.
"17With the Lord’s authority let me mention this: Live not longer as the ungodly[a] do, for they are hopelessly muddled.(Ephesians 4:17, New Living Translation)"
So, I rather emulate the instructing of the Apostle Paul than to emulate the educations which apparently refute that of the Apostle.
