Jiangdong Software Park--the first international service outsourcing park with high starting point integrated planning construction in Nanjing has already taken shape. As is learnt from Jiangdong Software Park the other day, at present the first group of enterprises to settle in the park have been fixed; projects such as Gulou Service Mansion for Software Outsourcing and AIG Group Science & Technology Center have broken the ground; and projects such as Hohai University Water Resources National Engineering Research Center and Nanjing University Soft are now under preparation.
According to Mr. Bao Yong'an, secretary of Commission of Gulou District,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Jiangdong Software Park covers an area of 1,755 mu, and its construction is highly concerned by the leaders of Jiangsu province and Nanjing municipality. The construction objective of Jiangdong Software Park is to build a top-end service outsourcing agglomeration center in Jiangsu,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which takes the lead in China and has influences on the whole world, in several years.
According to the objectives, in 2010, Jiangdong Software Park will achieve software and service outsourcing value of over 20 billion RMB, export of 1-2 billion RMB, software personnel of 20,000 to 30,000, and 10 world-famous software and service outsourcing enterprises. The realization of the series of development objectives will greatly reinforce the international popularity of Nanjing as a famous software city.
