|
|
Molly said about Leland, "I miss her so. But I have to tell you, I have checked in with her on the other side and she is so magnificent now, words can't do it justice."
Laurie made an authentic connection with every participant. She was open and curious, an extraordinary pioneer who made deep service seem effortless. Before her death, she was considering a proposal I sent her about researching the brainwaves of skilled empaths, versus unskilled ones.
And, of course, you're invited to contribute aura readings, empathic merges, or share whatever you have learned by reading faces of any of these great ones. One might call Laurie and Leland "cancer victims," or say they "died young." But I call them heroes here at Earth School, graduates who completed their missions and have moved on to other glories.
Nor could I find any words on Google about this super-evolved woman, except for her name on a program of events at a Unity church.

ANOTHER GREAT ONE, slightly more famous, was Laurie Monroe. She ran The Monroe Institute, where I met her on several occasions. Her father, Robert Monroe, was the mega-bestselling author who wrote about out-of-body experiences, developer of Hemi-Synch technology, including those wonderful CDs you can use for catnapping and more far-out purposes.
When I searched for her on Google Images, I couldn't find any photo [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which is especially a shame because Leland was gorgeous. She dressed with so much style that she is one of the few women I've met (self included) who wouldn't benefit from a guest appearance on "What Not To Wear."
With her gravelly tenor voice, and trippy third eye, Laurie would talk about her father in a very personal way, doing the opposite of guru-ification.
You're also invited to comment about others in the mind-body-spirit community who weren't especially famous but who worked wonders while they walked among us. By all means, include the name, a photo link, your words. Click here to join this thread at my blog:
Yesterday I learned about the death of Leland Perry. She was a distinguished Reiki master [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], as well as an avid animal communicator, a very talented empath, and a client of mine.
I don't remember exactly why she came to me, although I'm guessing it was to cut cords of attachment () and maybe coach her as an aura reader or empath. () I do remember how much I liked and respected her.
I would love to see brainwave printouts of people like me using techniques to turn empathy ON, like "The Heart's Journey" in Empowered by Empathy.
Although she had huge executive responsibilities, running the deservedly prestigious Institute, Laurie used to visit each new group personally at orientation. She would also congratulate Monroe students at their last meeting. (At least she did while I used to go there for courses.)
Isn't that the case for so many of the very best among us who do spiritual reading [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], intuitive reading, deep service of any kind? Being famous is something separate, a kind of luck. If you think for a minute that Dr. Phil is the most talented therapist who ever lived, think for a second minute.
I don't mind relinquishing that particular dream, for that particular time and place, but I do miss Laurie Monroe. Her photo is above. Here I invite your reminiscences about her, as well as those about Leland.
The news came from Molly, another long-term client who fortunately is very much alive. Molly had studied with us both and been especially close to Leland.
